Hollyer Projects in revamp of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

UK-based project management company, Hollyer Projects is to oversee the refurbishment of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas in the US.

The 13 year old attraction is to be brought up to date with the look and feel of the current Madame Tussauds brand, in addition to benefiting from a range of new features.

Rosita Chapman, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas said: "Guests will be able to experience a more fully immersive Madame Tussauds experience, while repeat customers get to see new rooms and figures they haven't seen before."

The work will be split into two phases over two years, the first phase including a refurbishment of the Box Office/Front Entry; the re-theming of the current Speed room to a new Film room; and the expansion of the current Sports room.

The Box Office/Front Entry will have a red carpet feel to give guests the impression of entering a star-studded celebrity event.

The Film room, a cornerstone of the Madame Tussauds brand, is to get a Vegas flavour by showcasing movies either based on or filmed in Las Vegas.

The second phase will include an update of the attraction's Music room and the introduction of a Madame Tussauds Historical room, combined with a Behind the Scenes area detailing the creation process of the Madame Tussauds waxworks.
